Introduction:

Hack O' Verse is an offline hackathon organized by the Electra Society of NIT Silchar under the PowerSurge 10.0 event. This hackathon provides students with an excellent opportunity to showcase their innovation and technical expertise by solving real-world problems.

Inspiration:

Hack O' Verse aims to empower students to solve real-world problems creatively while honing their technical skills and teamwork.

About the challenge:

Hack O' Verse is an exciting hackathon where participants will solve real-world problem statements by building a solution in the form of a web application or an Android application.

Challenge Highlights:

3 problem statements will be provided.
Participants must submit a solution in the form of a working app or platform.

REQUIREMENTS

What to Build:

Participants must create either a web application or an Android application.

What to Submit:

Submit the source code of the project either as a GitHub repository or a zip file.

Tools and Technologies:

Participants are free to use any tech stack of their choice for the development of their solution.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Projects will be judged based on the following criteria:

Idea and Approach: Uniqueness and clarity of the solution.

Complexity: How well the solution tackles the problem.

Code Base: Cleanliness, optimization, and structure of the code.

Scalability: The potential of the solution to handle real-world scenarios.

Eligibility:

This hackathon is open to all first and second-year students of NIT Silchar.

Project and Submission Requirements:

GitHub repository or Zip file of the source code.

Prizes:

Cash prizes up to 5k.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection:

Based on idea approach, complexity, code base and scalability.

Points to be noted

Participants must register on the Fablecon platform.
Solutions must strictly adhere to the problem statements provided.
Use of AI tools is permitted.
Copying solutions from GitHub or other sources will result in immediate disqualification.
Participants must explain their approach and source code in the final round.
