We are looking for a highly skilled Laravel Developer who is passionate about developing scalable web applications and working in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web application using Laravel, building new features, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Laravel.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Implement responsive and adaptive designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP trends, tools, and technologies.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel.
- Backend Development: Expertise in building RESTful APIs, middleware, and handling asynchronous tasks.
- PHP: Strong knowledge of PHP 7+ and object-oriented programming principles.
- Database Management: Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub/Bitbucket.
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript: Basic knowledge to collaborate with frontend developers.
- Unit Testing: Familiarity with PHPUnit or similar testing frameworks.
- Security Practices: Knowledge of common security best practices in web development (e.g., CSRF, XSS, SQL Injection).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with Vue.js or React.js for front-end integration is a plus.
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and driven approach to work.
