Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, building lasting relationships with clients, and positioning our software solutions as the preferred choice for businesses. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to promote and sell our software products to target audiences.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Presentations & Demos: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our solutions.
- Contract Negotiations: Negotiate pricing and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from prospecting to closing deals, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align efforts and deliver seamless client experiences.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to refine strategies.
Eligibility Criteria & Required Skills
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development or sales, specifically in selling software products (SaaS experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the software sales lifecycle, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Experience in contract negotiation and deal structuring.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
- A background in working with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
